I saw him play to a small room on La Brea tonight and I don’t want to go crazy gushing here but basically dude by far the most talented, artful young folk musician since Robin Pecknold and he’s probably already a better guitarist and lyricist. He’s going to be headlining the Wiltern in three years. You should really, seriously, listen to “Beacons” right now. (He is also playing our SXSW party and you should come see him there or wherever you can, he’s doing three shows. Doesn’t have to be mine.)
