Girls, again
It’s becoming clear that Hannah is that unfortunate person of our generation who has utterly internalized awkwardness as both a serious phobia and an unavoidable way of life. Is this Steve Carell’s fault? Michael Cera’s? She’s a very sad character, in that way. The Hannah-Marnie fight gets almost too real.
I thought I was a little bit Charlie but now I’m worried I might be Hannah and both seem like bad characters to relate to.
I would’ve liked to have seen Charlie’s post-break-up wallowing, psyching himself up to talk to his future girlfriend, etc. Oh well. Maybe on Boys Season 1.
