The funny thing is that there are so many parties, the big guys (or would-be big guys — Under the Radar?!) really have to escalate to a full-on AUSTIN PARTY HOUSE or get lost in the shuffle. The funnier thing is that like, at least 5-10 of them are and they all have the same bands! Meanwhile, Pitchfork is doing its showcase and its day party and chilling like a boss. 

I can’t believe that there’s enough sponsor money for all this stuff, though. We have three great sponsors and we’re still in the red on our event.

(Meanwhile, all the cool OG bloggers were really smart and jumped on the Hype Machine ship so they don’t have to worry about it.)
